Your responsibilities will include operating machinery and performing quality control checks to ensure that production goals are met efficiently and safely. Tasks

• Set up and operate various production equipment according to product specifications.

• Record production logs, including material usage, output, quantity, downtime, and quality control records.

• Monitor production processes to ensure efficient and effective operation and that production areas are organized, clean, and safe

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during production, minimizing downtime and production delays.

• Perform quality inspections on products during different production stages.

• Ensure all production activities meet safety, regulatory, and company standards.

• Assist in implementing process improvements to increase productivity and collaborate with supervisors and team leads to optimize workflows.

• Conduct regular checks and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Required skills and qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus.

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

• Basic knowledge of production machinery operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with quality control processes and safety regulations in manufacturing.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and solve production problems early.

• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.

• Basic computer skills for data logging to input and track production data.

• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions carefully.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Certification or training in operating specific production machinery.

• Certification in manufacturing or safety training (e.g., OSHA).

• Experience in a production or assembly line role.

• Knowledge of automated production systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and manuals.

• Experience with computer-controlled production systems or software.

• Experience with automated production systems or assembly lines.

• Ability to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
