Heavy Equipment Mechanic
B&M Ashman is seeking a dependable and motivated Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our trucks and heavy equipment. This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of machinery, making a direct impact on our daily operations. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair trucks and a range of heavy equipment
- Perform both general maintenance and major repairs as required
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with team members to maximize equipment availability and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Experience in the repair and maintenance of trucks and heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
