MUST LIVE IN MICHIGAN Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal Job descriptionThe Paralegal position will focus on assisting attorneys with cases to ensure the efficient
and timely progression of the different stages of litigation. Ideal candidate will have personal injury
knowledge and also be Bi-Lingual/Spanish preferred not required. Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients from the beginning of the case through the litigation process
- Communicate with treating doctors and medical providers
- Prepare and manage legal documents, correspondence, and filings in accordance with relevant laws
and regulations
- Assist attorneys in litigation activities
- Identify, research, and analyze relevant laws and legal issues
- Track case progress and deadlines and update attorneys accordingly
- Utilize case management software and database systems to organize and manage case information
- Three years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience preferred, but not required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Self-starter with extreme attention to detail and accuracy
- Results-oriented with a proactive approach to case management
- Ability to handle large and complex caseloads
- Fluency in Spanish
Must be diligent and positive worker, able to work in a team atmosphere, positive, self-starter and eager
to learn and advance. Pay is commensurate with experience with bonus opportunities. Insurance
