Mixer Operator

Location: Caledonia, MI

Pay: Up to $22.00/hour (depending on experience)

Shift Premium: Additional $2.00/hour for night shift

Position Overview: We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mixer Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for safely mixing and preparing silicone compounds used in our coating operations, following strict safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Education & Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred (chemical handling a plus)

Forklift operation experience preferred

Skills & Knowledge Required:

OSHA safety training (required)

Site-specific HAZCOM training

Knowledge of PPE use and compliance

Understanding of SPCC Spill Prevention Policies and Procedures

Basic math skills and ability to weigh materials accurately using scales

Familiarity with ISO 9000/2015 standards and training

Commitment to following safety, quality, and environmental policies

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Physical Demands: Lift up to 60 lbs Push/pull carts up to 400 lbs

Stand and walk for 12-hour shifts

Work Environment: Work safely around and with chemicals

Collaborate closely with coater operators or work independently to compound silicones
