We are looking for an SLP who wants to be more than just a consultant. At Little Magic Therapies, you’ll be a key part of our early intervention team at Beyond Expectations daycare, working directly with children from birth to age 5.
- Direct Intervention: Run assessments and therapy sessions for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a natural, high-quality learning environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside our teachers and lead staff to integrate speech goals into the children’s daily classroom routines.
- Family Support: Be a resource for parents, helping them understand milestones and giving them practical tools to use at home.
- Growth Tracking: Manage your own caseload, documentation, and treatment plans while staying compliant with state healthcare and licensing standards.
- The Credentials: A valid Michigan SLP license (CCC-SLP preferred).
- The Experience: You’re comfortable with the 0–5 age group. If you’ve worked in early intervention or a school setting before, you’ll hit the ground running here.
- The Mindset: You understand that "play" is a child's work. You can translate complex medical terminology into "parent-friendly" advice.
- The Basics: Strong knowledge of pediatric anatomy/physiology and a reliable, self-starting work ethic.
