As the Pit Master, you are the skilled professional responsible for grilling and barbecuing meat, often using a smoker to enhance flavor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all grilling operations at the restaurant
• Season, marinate, and prepare meats for the grill or smoker
• Maintain the highest level of our recipes with great attention to detail
• Monitoring and adjusting temperature controls during cooking times
• Ensure meats are cooked to perfection and maintain consistent quality
• Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation
• Attention to detail and passion for barbecue are essential traits
• Arrive daily in proper uniform.

Physical Requirements:

• Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice, or trash removal.
• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift

Schedule:

• Ability to meet schedule requirements and is a reliable performer.
• Ability to work up to a 32-40-hour work week
