Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Trenton
• This role involves mechanical troubleshooting and repairs of motors, conveyors, gears, and hydraulics within the plant

Job Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on motors, conveyors, gears, and hydraulic systems
• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance tasks
• Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, bobcats, aerial lifts, cranes, and yard tractors
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues
• Read and interpret parts diagrams for equipment assembly and disassembly
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LO/TO) protocols
• Commit to customer satisfaction, first-time quality, and operational efficiency

Essential Skills

• Experience with hydraulic systems, conveyors, and augers
• Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical issues
• Ability to work with cranes and forklifts and willingness to work at heights (30-40ft)
• Knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance, including construction equipment and diesel engines
• Safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to safety standards

This is a Permanent position based out of Trenton, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $66560.00/yr.
