As a leader in our Supplier Technical Assistance Team (STA), your primary responsibility is to lead your team and supplier partners in the robust industrialization of the manufacturing process, deliver improved quality, capacity and reduce warranty on current model production and new model launches, utilizing standard tools and processes. You will also be responsible for the development of your employees and the development of a business plan for your specific suppliers that will achieve best-in-class launch, quality, capacity, and warranty performance.

What you will do ...
+ Drive Supplier Engagement Procedure for new programs by adhering to Advanced Part Quality Planning (APQP) disciplines, ensuring flawless quality, capacity planning, and verification.
+ Conduct Technical Deep Dives for new launches as needed, escalating critical issues and "date to green" plans to management.
+ Promote continuous improvement in manufacturing excellence within the assigned STA Organization(s) through Q1 attainment/retention, Health chart deployment, and supplier training.
+ Implement robust problem-solving processes for supplier process issues related to stop shipments/builds, field service actions, prevent action closure, and BSAQ Supplier Process projects.
+ Resolve supplier process capacity issues, ensuring production constraint risk mitigation in collaboration with Ford and supplier teams, and managing "date to green" plans.
+ Monitor 24/7 roster suppliers and facilitate early on-site intervention, managing global status updates for these suppliers.
+ Collaborate with Site STA to prioritize on-site visits for critical suppliers to verify capacity.
+ Escalate capacity shortfalls and support cross-functional mitigation activities.
+ Monitor and report on incremental capacity tooling execution and CAR verification status as required by global PPAP requirements.
+ Drive robust Supplier Risk Assessment to support sourcing through appropriate forums.
+ Provide prioritization and leadership to Site Engineers for corrective and preventive supplier manufacturing actions.
+ Ensure compliance with all organizational and corporate training requirements and SIM compliance for the team.
+ Support the People Development process, mentor/coach STA site engineers, and drive timely performance feedback and effective performance reviews.
+ Manage emerging significant supplier issues (quality, manufacturing, supply, etc.) and drive risk mitigation.
+ Engage with key suppliers, Subject Matter Experts (SME), STA GTS, and Global Core STA to address critical issues related to sourcing, new technology, systemic quality, capacity, and manufacturing.
You'll have...
+ Bachelor of Science/Engineering, or academic equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude.
+ Proficiency in English for effective communication with global teams.
+ Advanced knowledge of Supplier Quality tools, AIAG policies, and systems.
+ Advanced knowledge of manufacturing process(es) and the ability to resolve complex issues for Underbody/Driveline/Transmission commodities.
+ Experience in Supplier Quality. Preferably as a Site Engineer, Launch STA Engineer, and/or Resident Engineer.
+ Supply/Crisis Management Experience.
