- Fosters positive morale among staff, by promotion of open communication with all departments, to help create and maintain an innovative and cooperative staff relationship and environment. Participates in quality improvement activities
- Ensures that all business conduct is above minimum standards required by law and will not condone any activities that achieve results through violation of the law, unethical business, or patient care practices
- Monitors business operations to ensure financial stability through operational plans and budgeting
- Oversees staff development including orientation, in-service, continuing education, competency testing, and quality assessment performance improvement
- Oversees the direction of direct staff in the performance of their duties including admission, discharge, transfer, revocation, and provision of service to patients
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- Current State License as a Registered Nurse
- Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance coverage
- Two 2) to five (5) years experience in health care management
- Intimate knowledge of Medicare Hospice conditions of participation, CHAP or accrediting requirements, and local, state, and federal rules
- A Master's Degree in health care or a related field is preferred
- Office Location: Bingham Farms, MI
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
