Job Title: Application Engineer - Fluid Systems
Reports To: General Manager
Summary
FormFab LLC is a manufacturer of precision bent tubing assemblies and inspection fixtures for the
tubing industry. We specialize in prototype development and low volume production focusing on
equipment capacities that handle up to 2” diameter tubing.
The FormFab Application Engineer will focus on these capabilities in order to achieve company
goals and objectives. This will be accomplished through effectively managing the process of
efficiently initiating new projects and programs within the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Ability to organize and take the lead on the Application Engineering of products and
programs in order to meet company goals and objectives.
- Serve customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, and
services.
- Technical interface with customer to develop production feasible solutions for various
tubing/fluid systems applications
- Technical interfaces with design, manufacturing plants, testing, sales, program
management, purchasing and suppliers

-Development and implementation of creative cost-effective solutions to technical,
performance, quality and durability problems discovered during development of new
products
- Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) & Product Launch of new assemblies.
- New product design reviews
- Development of process flows
- DFMEA & PFMEA
- Bill of Material generation
- Function within the procedures and guidelines of the IATF 16949:2016 quality
management system
- Manage timelines for successful product launch
- Ensure that tooling specifications and timing requirements are achieved
- Development of FormFab design standards
- Systems and Procedures Development
- 5S Organization
- Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in
a positive manner
Beneficial Skills:
- 5-10yrs of experience in fluid system processing and equipment
- Experience with HVAC systems and fuel systems
- Automotive Industry Experience
- CAD skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Candidate will interact with, sales, purchasing, and manufacturing personnel both internally
and externally.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an acceptable combination of education and
experience.
Compensation:
- Salaried position with annual discretionary performance bonus. (commensurate with
experience)
