Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for a school setting in Detroit, MI, supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role spans a full semester and requires on-site availability, providing essential therapy services during the regular school day.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering direct OT services grounded in educational goals. The caseload will consist of approximately 50 students, with specific details to be shared during the interview process. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development and participation is a critical component of this role.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 K-12 students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with educational teams and families
• Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and related documentation
• Commitment to working onsite full time, 37.5 hours per week
