Facilities Manager | Coopersville, MI
Salary Range: $89,000 - $135,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventative and reactive maintenance programs for all facility equipment, machinery, and infrastructure.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and building regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA) within the manufacturing plant.
- Manage the facilities budget, including forecasting, cost control, and procurement of services and supplies.
- Oversee vendor selection and management for facility services, repairs, and specialized maintenance contracts.
- Plan and execute facility expansion, renovation, and equipment installation projects to support production needs.
- Optimize utility consumption and implement energy efficiency initiatives across the manufacturing operation.
- Develop and enforce facility security protocols and emergency response plans to safeguard personnel and assets.
Recommended Qualifications
- Strong background in managing comprehensive maintenance programs (preventative, predictive, corrective) for manufacturing equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.
- Proven experience ensuring regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, local codes) and implementing robust safety programs within a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage facilities projects, including capital improvements, equipment installations, and renovations, from planning through execution.
- Solid understanding of industrial building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air) and their application in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading and developing a facilities team, coupled with proficiency in budget management and vendor contract negotiation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience.
- Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or Facilities Management Professional (FMP) designation.
- Experience with energy management systems or sustainability initiatives.
