Professional Care Technician (Direct Care Worker)
LADD, Inc. – Niles, MI
Pay: $17.13 per hour
Job Type: Part-time (16–32 hours/week, with opportunity for up to 40 hours)
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available in our Niles area (includes every other weekend)
LADD is hiring compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Professional Care Technicians . In this role, you will provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them live safely and independently.
Responsibilities- Assist individuals with daily living activities (personal care, meals, hygiene)
- Support community participation and engagement
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
- Follow care plans and document services provided
- Uphold confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA & HITECH laws
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to complete physical exam
- Willingness to work rotating weekends
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Paid training (CPR/First Aid, Mandt, and more)
