MACHINE OPERATOR
Reports to Production Supervisor Fully participate in and support the Mersen Quality System. General Description: Set up, adjust and operate a variety of large machines, perform machining operations involving close tolerance and finish specifications. Exemplary Duties/Responsibilities: Ability to follow operational sequences prescribed.- Operate machines to produce pilot pieces for inspection, check setups and make adjustments to correct variances.
- Work from part drawings, specifications, setup and operating instructions.
- Use a wide range of precision measuring instruments and devices to set up, operate and check work.
- Be responsible for final inspection under general supervision.
