Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, including labor, material, and overhead.
• Develop, maintain, and update standard costs for products and processes.
• Perform detailed variance analysis (e.g., price, quantity, efficiency) and explain deviations.
• Manage inventory costing, valuation, and reconciliation processes.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and cost forecasts for production.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare accurate and timely cost of goods sold (COGS) reports.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a manufacturing context.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system configuration or module implementation (e.g., SAP CO, Oracle Manufacturing).
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
