Express Employment of Monroe is assisting a client seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their Addison plant. This position is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment in a clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring production and support equipment run smoothly—performing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related repairs while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair production and support equipment to manufacturer specifications (electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems).
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment refurbishments.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, structural, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Fabricate and modify parts using hand tools, drill presses, saws, and mills.
• Identify and order repair or replacement parts as needed.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Operate forklifts and arc welders as needed.
• Support production and process improvement efforts.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/PLC troubleshooting).
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or journeyman card preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Strong math, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with lockout/tagout, PPE, and safe work practices.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work in a manufacturing setting.
• Positive team player with good communication and organizational skills.

Schedule & Pay

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM -Overtime may be required.
• Pay Rate: $26-30 per hour (based on experience)
