We Are Seeking an experienced System Analyst – Digital Standards & Web Accessibility Reviewer to support the evaluation and compliance of websites, web applications, and digital documents against established digital standards, accessibility requirements, and branding guidelines. This role will focus on conducting detailed accessibility assessments, documenting findings, collaborating with development and support teams, and ensuring digital solutions meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and usability best practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong accessibility testing expertise, experience with assistive technologies, and a passion for creating inclusive digital experiences for all users.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive reviews of websites, web applications, and digital documents to ensure compliance with established digital standards and accessibility requirements.
· Perform digital accessibility testing using both manual and automated testing tools.
· Evaluate websites and applications for compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards.
· Test digital solutions using assistive technologies including screen readers and other accessibility tools.
· Review digital assets for adherence to branding, usability, and design standards.
· Conduct accessibility testing across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
· Thoroughly document review findings, accessibility issues, and compliance recommendations.
· Present review results to application support teams, project stakeholders, and business partners.
· Collaborate with technical teams to explain accessibility findings and remediation recommendations.
· Work closely with project teams to improve and optimize accessibility review processes and standards compliance.
· Assist with accessibility awareness, education, and best practice guidance across project teams.
· Support ongoing initiatives focused on digital inclusion, accessibility, and user experience improvements.
· Perform additional duties related to digital standards and accessibility compliance as assigned.
Required Skills:
· Some college education or equivalent professional experience.
· 1+ years of experience testing websites, applications, or digital products for accessibility compliance.
· 1+ years of experience working with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
· Advanced knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards and requirements.
· Advanced proficiency using assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, and similar accessibility tools.
· Experience conducting manual accessibility testing and validation.
· Familiarity with automated accessibility testing tools and methodologies.
· Strong understanding of digital usability, accessibility, and inclusive design principles.
· Experience documenting accessibility findings, recommendations, and remediation requirements.
· Ability to communicate technical accessibility issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
· 3+ years of experience testing websites and applications for digital accessibility.
· Professional certification related to WCAG, accessibility testing, or inclusive design.
· Experience working within government, public sector, or highly regulated environments.
· Familiarity with accessibility compliance standards, digital governance, and branding guidelines.
· Experience performing accessibility reviews across responsive web and mobile applications.
