Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role's specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. The Ally Internship Program guides and mentors students with development opportunities and experiences that support your career interests while also driving the business forward. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with diverse teams and functions across the company. You will interact with Ally’s leadership and learn from their personal successes. You will gain the experience to know what it means to be an Ally! As part of our Internship Program, you will have an opportunity to:- Have hands on experience and project-based work
- Attend Orientation, Executive Speaking Series, and learning sessions as an Intern cohort
- Participate in Mentoring Program and Giving Back Events
- Network with your peers, your team, and those Allys you find interesting
- Lead an end of assignment presentation
- Internship Program Timing: May 26 – August 7, 2026
- 40 hours each week with a mix of in-office and remote working days
- Project-based work
- Market competitive hourly compensation and a sign-on bonus, as well as financial housing assistance for those who qualify
- Successful interns will have the opportunity to return to Ally in an Early Talent Program or full-time role, or to a second internship, depending upon graduation timing.
- Data Operations - this group is involved with any data requests or projects in the insurance business. The team develops graphs, reports, dashboards, and presentations for all areas of the business and produce routine and ad hoc data extracts using SQL. They also identify data issues and conducts research to determine the best course of action for correction and identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. The team defines and test data requirements for all data related to insurance.
- Rising Junior or Senior (during the time of internship) in a full-time undergraduate program.
- Major/Course of Study: Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrates Analytical Thinking, Collaboration, Learning Agility.
- Available for the full duration of the internship program.
- Eligible to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
- Time Away: Program starts at 20 paid time off days in addition to 11 paid holidays and 8 hours of volunteer time off yearly (time off days are prorated based on start date and program varies based on full or part-time status and management level).
