Bookkeeper / Office Manager | Plainwell, MI
Salary Range: $51,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, vendor payments, and collections.
- Process bi-weekly payroll, including tax filings and employee benefits administration.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Oversee general office administration, including ordering supplies, managing mail, and maintaining office equipment.
- Assist with HR administrative tasks such as new hire onboarding, maintaining employee records, and scheduling.
- Coordinate with manufacturing vendors for facility maintenance, repairs, and supply chain needs.
- Generate basic financial reports and assist with month-end closing procedures.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of basic manufacturing accounting principles, such as inventory tracking and job costing.
- Proven ability to manage office operations, including administrative support, vendor relations, and light HR tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with cost accounting principles in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience assisting with HR functions (e.g., onboarding, benefits administration support).
- Familiarity with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., NetSuite, SAP Business One).
- Basic understanding of inventory management processes and their impact on financials.
