Job Summary: Acrisure is seeking a Manager – Corporate Accounting to join our growing team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role will lead critical components of corporate accounting close process for a large, complex fintech organization. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of consolidated financial reporting while driving process improvements, standardization, and scalability to support a fast-growing, global enterprise. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Manager will partner closely with global accounting teams, FP&A, tax, treasury, and external auditors. This role requires a strong technical accounting background, leadership skills, and the ability to navigate a high-growth, dynamic environment. Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate financial close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
- Support the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, supporting schedules, and disclosures.
- Drive continuous improvements in accounting close efficiency, leveraging automation, systems, and standardized processes across global entities.
- Collaborate with operational accounting teams to ensure alignment on policies, reconciliations, and reporting requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing audit-ready documentation and ensuring compliance with SOX/internal control requirements.
- Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of accounting professionals.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Operations on close, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
- Serve as a key liaison to external auditors, ensuring smooth coordination of quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Contribute to special projects, including system implementations, process transformation, and scaling initiatives aligned with company growth.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit requirements.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and leveraging technology to streamline accounting operations (e.g., ERP, consolidation tools).

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA (required).
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with people and process management experience.
- Public accounting (Big 4, national or regional) and/or large global public company experience strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, consolidation, and financial reporting; IFRS experience a plus.
