Master Social Worker - Master of Social Work

This position provides assessment and intervention to help clients and families address social, economic, and health challenges through casework, therapy, and community resource coordination.

  • Conducts interviews and assessments to determine client needs and develops action plans.
  • Refers clients to community resources, arranges appointments, and builds rapport with agencies.
  • Performs individual and family therapy as needed.
  • Maintains accurate records, case documentation, and statistical data.
  • Follows up on plans, participates in quality reviews, and adheres to policies.
  • Engages in ongoing professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Ensures compliance with legal and certification requirements.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work, Michigan license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred experience and BLS certification are advantageous. Skills required include strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and documentation abilities, with the capacity to work independently and manage stress effectively.
