Job Summary:
We are looking for a Test Technician with strong skills in electrical and mechanical systems to set up, test, and troubleshoot robotic automation equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in robotics, automation testing, and manufacturing environments .
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, test, and inspect robotic automation systems for mechanical, electrical, application, and safety performance .
Follow production schedules and meet daily productivity targets.
Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and technical documentation.
Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet engineering and manufacturing standards.
Use electrical and mechanical tools to perform testing and repairs.
Maintain tools and equipment in accordance with company procedures.
Organize and maintain a clean work area using 5S workplace organization methods .
Adhere to safety protocols including HAZMAT handling, lockout/tagout, robot safety, PPE use, and risk assessments.
Complete work orders and documentation in an ERP system .
Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assemblies .
Proficiency with hand tools, testing equipment, and troubleshooting techniques .
Familiarity with safety procedures in an industrial setting (MIOSHA or similar).
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree, technical certificate, licensed/apprentice status, or equivalent experience in electrical or applied science preferred.
1–5 years’ experience in manufacturing, electrical assembly, robotics, or automation testing .
ISO 9001 experience a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Operate machinery and hand tools.
Work Environment:
Clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled facility with occasional off-site assignments.
