Summary

The TCS Trailer Operator is responsible for executing direction provided to the shift operations team to operate the manufacturing assets in a disciplined manner to safely and efficiently manufacture a quality product. The Trailer Operator is responsible for the use of operational discipline instructional documentation including SOP, SMP, SWI, SKP, TWI or any other temporary or permanent approved procedures in addition to adherence to all Site Safety Standards.

Specific areas of responsibility include:

• TCS/STC Storage and Trailer Loading and Off Loading.

• Chemical Sale Storage and Loading

• Testing Distribution Headers in Plants 1, 2 and 3.

• Trailer Purging and Prepping for Maintenance

This role is accountable for all aspects of department performance including Safety & Environment, Quality, Reliability, Production, and Productivity.

Essential Functions

• Recognize, react to, and escalate Abnormal Situations to Shift leader.

• Participate in shift exchange for area. Responsible for completion of shift exchange and up to date completion of instructional documentation (including SOP, SMP, SWI, SKP, Job Plan or any other temporary or permanent approved procedures) and shift communication.

• Responsible for completing all purging, prepping, lock-outs safely and according to site standard to ensure the autonomous maintenance work in the area is on schedule. Writes safe work permits in areas as directed.

• Responsible for escalation of equipment issues to Shift leader.

• Responsible for operation and maintenance of manufacturing assets in disciplined manner adhering to all regulatory and site management systems including thorough completion of process rounds.

The range for this position is $28.00 - $29.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, variable bonus, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
