Salary Range: $54,000 - $84,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer Requests for Quotation (RFQs), blueprints, and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain to determine manufacturing feasibility, material requirements, and lead times.
• Calculate accurate costs for materials, labor, tooling, and overhead using established methodologies.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining target profit margins.
• Prepare and submit detailed, professional, and timely quotations to customers.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all quotes, revisions, and related communications.
• Follow up on submitted quotes to address customer inquiries and negotiate terms.

Recommended Qualifications

• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, fabrication, assembly) and material properties.
• Proven experience in cost estimation, pricing strategies, and developing detailed Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for quoting, BOM generation, and cost analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all quotation activities.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with common CAD viewing software (e.g., SolidWorks Viewer, AutoCAD LT).
• Experience with specific ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, NetSuite).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, or assembly.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
