Growing plastics injection molding company is looking for driven Mold Setter to join our team at our plastic injection molding manufacturing facility in Saline, Michigan.

You'll be responsible for installing and setting up molds according to process specifications and ensuring quality production from start to finish. You'll collaborate with your shift team to maintain smooth operations and deliver high-quality parts on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and change molds according to process guidelines.
• Prepare all necessary equipment and accessories for each mold setup, including temperature controllers, hoses, and fixtures.
• Follow all safety protocol like Lock-Out Tag-Out during mold installation.
• Coordinate with setup team to prepare tools and equipment for upcoming jobs.
• Tear down and store molds and equipment properly after job completion.

• We're looking for candidates with 2-5 years of plastic injection molding experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to read and follow technical instructions and documentation
• Forklift and Overheard Crane experience preferred.

• Solid teamwork, communication, and time management skills

• Basic math and computer literacy (spreadsheets, word processing, etc.)

• Manufacturing environment that may be hot, noisy, dirty.
• Substantial physical effort - constant walking in the manufacturing area.
• Stop mold installation if there is a quality issue with the mold or if installation presents a safety concern.

Schedule: Monday through Wednesday 6-hour shifts, alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 12-hour shifts. Guaranteed 2 days off per week!
