As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Portage, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a part of the Allied Universal team, you will monitor and patrol the premises of a healthcare location, helping to provide a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required as you may be responsible for mobile patrols. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or incidents.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
• Assist in controlling access to designated areas, verifying identification as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response efforts by communicating promptly with appropriate personnel and following established protocols.
• Document all security-related activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal's reporting procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
