Salary Range: $58,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and sub-ledgers.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accurate recording.
• Support the cost accounting team with inventory valuation, variance analysis, and cost of goods sold calculations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
• Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise).
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with ERP systems specifically designed for manufacturing environments (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• - Familiarity with cost accounting principles such as standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods (FIFO, LIFO, weighted-average).
• - Understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on financial reporting.
• - Certification such as CPA, CMA, or relevant industry-specific certifications.
