Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time or part-time position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary school students in Sterling Heights, MI, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment, helping children develop essential communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Evaluate and diagnose communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings preferred, especially pediatrics and elementary education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
