Speech-Language Pathologist
Engage Therapy Center is looking to add a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team-oriented private clinic. Part time or full time hours are available for this position.
We are a pediatric therapy center in Zeeland, Michigan that is committed to walking alongside our clients through the therapy process. We offer a supportive and enriching working environment which promotes partnership, brainstorming, and collaboration between disciplines. We are focused on holistic client care and family inclusion in order to help our clients perform the everyday tasks that bring meaning to their lives.
Speech Therapist Responsibilities:
- Conduct formal and informal patient assessments to determine clients’ strengths, challenges, and personal goals
- Establish appropriate treatment goals, maintain data to support goals, and adjust treatment plan per client progress
- Provide client-centered therapy services in articulation, expressive-receptive language, AAC, pragmatic language, and feeding
- Educate clients and/or caregivers
- Complete necessary documentation and communication in a timely manner
- Celebrate, equip, and partner with clients and their caregivers
Speech Therapist Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Therapy or Speech-language Pathology
- Relevant license and certification (MI and ASHA)
- Pediatric experience required
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Sound understanding of AAC evaluations process and treatment
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Willing to take initiative in helping Engage Therapy Center be an exceptional community resource
Job Type: Part-time to start; can grow to full time if desired; flexible start date
Pay: $25 - $48 per hour
