POSITION OVERVIEW

The purpose of the Supply Chain Analyst is to maintain the compliance of global import and export supply chains for the organization.

This is an onsite position located in Holland, MI. It is not eligible for remote work at this time.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Applies basic working knowledge of import and export transactions.

• Prepare information for the entry of goods into the United States including Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), Certificate of Origin (COO), value, Incoterms, and descriptions.

• Work with cross functional teams to develop appropriate import rates for new products.

• Manage the Free-Trade Agreement (FTA) process from solicitation to completing certificates for OEM’s.

• Ensure timely and accurate response to Brokers and internal customers for imports and exports.

• Provide analytical support for general questions on requests on value, HTS, classification CF28-29 responses.

• Maintain online systems for compliance including ACE, OneSource, and Trade Wizards.

• Develop online system tools using Business Intelligence (BI) to streamline supply chain activities.

• Participate and assist in developing Quarterly Business Reviews with brokers.

• Assist with the execution of special projects related to customs matters, import and export procedures.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Analytical thinking - Tackling a problem by using a logical, systematic, and sequential approach.

• Communicating effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey clear understanding, taking into account the unique needs of different audiences.

• Utilize policies, manuals and desktop procedures in daily activities in accordance with merchandise importation regulations.

• Maintain knowledge of other government agency requirements, such as USDA, FDA, EPA, Lacey Act, AD/CVD and import/export regulations.

• Maintaining high level of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality with respect to company matters.

• Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties , including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.

WHAT TO BRING

• 4-Year degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or other related field.

• 1-2 years of experience working in a supply chain environment, including areas of customs compliance such as classification, valuation, assists, country of origin, recordkeeping, C-TPAT, Free Trade Agreements and ISA.

• Current and continuing right to work in the United State without sponsorship.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
