Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Detroit. This role involves handling various administrative duties and providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals. The position offers a long-term opportunity with training provided at our Rochester Hills facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing calls, walk-in appointments, and filing tasks.
• Handle prescriptions and verify insurance details.
• Coordinate appointments with doctor offices and verify details.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including transporting packages within the hospital.
• Ensure attention to detail in all tasks and retain information effectively.
• Commit to punctual attendance and reliability.

Essential Skills

• Strong customer service experience in any industry.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with multiple team members.
• Initiative-taking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working face-to-face with the public.
• System and PC savviness, with the capacity to adapt to web-based systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is preferred.
• Experience handling tough customer interactions.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable collaborating with staff and maintaining a positive demeanor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
