Key Responsibilities

• Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Analyze process data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, R&D) to achieve operational goals.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot processes, analyze data, and implement improvements.
• Experience with P&ID interpretation, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and equipment specification.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with advanced data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Python for statistical analysis).
• Experience with manufacturing automation systems (e.g., robotics, PLCs, SCADA).
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and analysis.
