Role Overview

As the lead for electrical assembly, you will orchestrate the panel build and machine wiring process for custom automation projects—owning schedule, quality, and communication.

What Success Looks Like

1. Leadership: You coordinate multiple build efforts, mentor newcomers, and keep the team aligned on priorities.
2. Execution: You fabricate and wire custom panels and machine circuits exactly to spec, guided by schematics and customer documentation.
3. Problem Solving: You diagnose faults swiftly, implement robust fixes, and verify results.
4. Communication: You broadcast status and open items, record changes, and keep stakeholders informed.
5. Collaboration: You partner with mechanical, controls, and project teams from design through on-site installation and support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on wiring experience for custom automated machinery.
• Track record of leading and coordinating teams.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Safety-focused with high attention to detail.
• Comfortable reading schematics and integrating with complex mechanical systems.
• Computer skills: Excel, Word, OneNote.
• Strong communicator; self-starter; team-oriented.
• Willing to travel up to 20% (local, national, international).

Technical Proficiency

• Electrical schematics
• Electrical troubleshooting (advanced)
• PLC wiring

• Multimeter
• Cable tray installation and routing
• Conveyor systems

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $32–$40 per hour (based on experience)
• Additional compensation: Overtime pay, travel pay
