- Payment Processing & Cash Handling: Collect and process payments for towing fees, storage costs, and vehicle auctions using cash, credit, or debit cards. Reconcile daily cash reports and balance the register to ensure transaction accuracy.
- Vehicle Release Coordination: Verify vehicle ownership, insurance, and lien holder information to ensure legally compliant releases.
- Administrative Duties: Process impoundment paperwork, maintain records in specialized databases, and manage abandoned vehicle auction documentation.
- Customer Service: Respond to inquiries regarding vehicle status, resolve complaints, and interact with law enforcement and insurance adjusters.
- Properly store, in a local safe, any funds held over from a deposit for any business reason
- Work in a productive, safe, and cooperative manner in accordance with all project policies and procedures
- Promote and maintain a positive work environment.
- Conduct other duties and special projects as assigned.
- 3 + year(s) previous cash handling experience required
- Ability to count cash and other payment media accurately
- Must be able to operate office equipment (copy machines, fax, telephone, pc, mouse & keyboard, and ten-key adding machine)
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Word & Excel
- High school diploma or equivalent required
