**What You'll Do (Responsibilities):**
+ Leadership: Providing guidance, direction, and support to team members.
+ Career Development: Engages team members in career and personal growth opportunities within their current and future positions within GM.
+ Develop software in c++.
+ Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop solutions to problems encountered during development.
**Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):**
+ 5+ years experience in C++ applications development
+ Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
+ Ability to communicate effectively assignments both written and verbally.
+ Ability to summarize complex problems and communicate the problems to teams or management that have a different set of technical abilities.
+ Ability to prioritize task and project manage.
+ Ability to develop multiple individuals on a team based on their current skills and behaviors to balance team goals and individual growth.
**What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):**
+ Experience developing applications in C++ from ground up.
+ Experience supervising.
+ Experience with project management.
+ Experience writing executive summaries.
+ Experience with hardware integration in Linux environment.
