A champion for Kensington in the campus’ community. A leader who will lead, encourage, communicate, coordinate, and problem solve on issues relating to the Kensington. The primary mission is to help create a place where visitors move from “guests” to becoming fully known and connected members of Kensington. Work in complete unity and synergy with the Campus Lead Pastor and other campus leaders. Work interdependently with Central campus leaders. A true keeper of the DNA of Kensington. Execute the vision that comes from Kensington’s Leadership Team.

Qualifications
- Education: Undergraduate degree.
- Experience: Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams, cast vision, develop strategic plans and manage day to day operations of a campus.
- Requirements: Membership at Kensington Community Church. Affirmation of the mission, vision, values, and beliefs of Kensington.
Responsibilities
PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT:
A. Responsible to oversee Growth Track:
- Direct and manage campus Growth Track program
- Host and lead weekly sessions and/or recruit and train hosts
- Develop Growth Track volunteer team to support weekly classes
- Create welcoming and engaging environment for participants
- Ensure participants understand material and how to apply to their lives
- Help participants discover God-given gifts and how to use their gifts to serve
- Develop a team for weekly follow up of participants and facilitate connections
- Manage program supplies, room reservations, signage, etc. as needed
B. Under the direction of the campus lead pastor, lead teams that will create a warm, welcoming and energetic atmosphere that is contagious through every square foot of Kensington
C. Assist the Campus Lead Pastor with leadership development, team building and other areas of staff development
D. Professionally develop, guide, and encourage campus staff
E. Foster relationships with all campus group and class leaders
F. Develop a volunteer leader to oversee Campus Prayer Team
G. Community and Pastoral Care liaison
H. Build campus community connections through coffees, calls, and texts
DISCIPLESHIP:
A. Responsible to develop and oversee Groups/Crews:
- Plan, prepare, and execution of new launch in fall of 2026
Identify, recruit, vet, and empower group leaders - Plan and execute group leader training – 3-4 events, ongoing continual training
- Increase campus awareness of, and participation in, groups
Build connection with active and new attendees to invite them into group life - Foster a strong, active, growth, and recruiting focused network of group leaders, members, and individuals interested in becoming part of groups Perform other duties related to groups within the staff discipleship team: i.e. creating group content/curriculum
B. Plan and oversee discipleship classes/courses, such us, but not limited to: Alpha, Bible Basics, Financial Compass
Manage class supplies, room reservations, signage, coffee, and/or food as needed
C. Plan and execute discipleship events: ex: women’s events, men’s events, Alpha Day, etc
D. Media requests for campus specific discipleship initiative
E. Attend monthly Discipleship team meeting
F. Monthly one-on-one meeting with spiritual formation leadership
CAMPUS LEADERSHIP:
A. A keeper of the Kensington vision ensuring that the campus stays on mission
B. Stay in sync with the Campus Lead Pastor, campus Leader, Campus Operations Director, Kkids Director, Student Ministry Director, and Discipleship ministry teams by keeping a pulse on the campus vibe, momentum, energy and spiritual growth
C. Anticipate problems and opportunities that will improve the overall experience of our attenders, visitors, and staff
D. Develop long-term campus strategies and master planning under the direction of the Campus Lead Pastor and Kensington Leadership team
E. Campus connection to Central Admin Team
F. Lobby presence for congregation and volunteers
G. Act as, or work alongside, Campus Operations Director with campus budget, event planning and coordination of Guest Services & Events i.e. volunteer recruitment, special events, holiday services, baptism, community events, etc.
H. Communicate with the congregation on important issues/topics, announcements, and answer external campus inquiries
I. Serve as point person during service times to provide answers and solutions for staff, volunteers, and guests
Character
Has a clear call of God to lead the people of their campus community to Jesus Christ. Demonstrate the qualities of a follower of Jesus Christ, with a passion to love God, live in authentic community with those in the body of Christ, and extend the love of God to those seeking Him. Show a strong commitment to living out Kensington’s values and beliefs in their Christian life. Show a strong commitment to living out the Kensington staff values in all areas of his/her life: Trust, Unity, Honor, Excellence and Fun. Possess characteristics that include humility, teachability, organization, teamwork, discernment, wisdom and strategic agility. Must work extremely well with others.
