Job Summary:

The cycle counter will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory levels through regular cycle counting activities. The Cycle Counter will play a crucial role in maintaining an efficient and organized warehouse environment by conducting regular inventory audits and reconciling discrepancies.

What you will be doing:

1. Cycle Counting:
   • Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
   • Utilize various counting methods and tools to perform efficient and precise inventory checks.
2. Data Entry and Record Keeping:
   • Accurately record inventory counts and adjustments in the warehouse management system (WMS) or relevant software.
   • Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of cycle counting activities.
3. Reconciliation:
   • Investigate and resolve discrepancies found during cycle counts by collaborating with other warehouse team members and stakeholders.
   • Report and document any inventory discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
4. Communication:
   • Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors, managers, and other team members regarding inventory levels and discrepancies.
   • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvement to enhance overall warehouse efficiency.
5. Equipment Use:
   • Operate equipment such as handheld scanners, forklifts, or other tools required for cycle counting activities.
   • Ensure the proper care and maintenance of counting equipment.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and basic computer skills.

• Excellent time Management
• Ability to Stand/walk for entirety of shift
• Hilo License or Required certification within 60 days

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including standing and walking for extended periods.
