Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee high-volume recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and skilled trades roles.
- Manage employee relations, including grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and conflict management on the shop floor.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, company policies, and manufacturing-specific safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
- Develop and execute workforce planning strategies, including succession planning and initiatives to reduce turnover among production staff.
- Administer competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored to attract and retain a skilled manufacturing workforce.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or senior HR Generalist in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA) relevant to manufacturing.
- Expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management for a production workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support operational goals and drive employee engagement.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills to manage diverse employee groups effectively.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with unionized environments or collective bargaining.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- OSHA 10/30 certification or extensive experience in workplace safety program development.
- Proficiency with manufacturing-centric HRIS or timekeeping systems (e.g., Kronos, ADP Workforce Now).
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese) to support a diverse workforce.
