Medical Office Coordinator
Join a patient-focused medical team as a Front Office Lead Coordinator! This role oversees daily front office operations, ensuring exceptional patient experiences, efficient workflow, and professional communication across clinical and administrative teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate front office staff in patient check-in, scheduling, and administrative duties.
- Manage daily operations, schedules, and coverage to maintain smooth workflow and minimize wait times.
- Monitor performance, provide coaching and evaluations, and assist with hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure accurate collection of co-pays, deductibles, and patient balances.
- Oversee insurance verifications, authorizations, and communication with billing teams.
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and a clean, welcoming reception area.
- Conduct staff meetings, communicate updates, and uphold a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Support high-quality patient care through exceptional service, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of medical office or clerical experience (scheduling, phones, or patient services).
- Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance verification, authorizations, and EMR systems a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to confidentiality and professionalism.
