Experienced Wedding Photographer - Metro Detroit (Must Have Portfolio)

JD Entertainment is a thriving wedding company in the Metro Detroit Area. 20 Years in the business and we are looking to grow again. We are looking for experienced Wedding Photographers that have shot at least 100-200 weddings. The ideal candidate will own their own equipment and enjoy the wedding industry. We'd love for you to join our team of professionals. We'll handle all of the business side of things so you can concentrate on your craft.

Location: Metro Detroit, MI (Local candidates only – No relocation assistance provided)
Position Type: Part-Time

Duties and Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality wedding photos with professional camera equipment.
• Shoot wedding ceremonies, receptions, and other key moments with a creative approach.
• Work efficiently in fast-paced, live-event settings to ensure the best shots are captured.

Client Interaction & Team Collaboration

• Communicate professionally with couples, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth event execution.
• Adapt to real-time wedding-day changes and problem-solve as needed.
• Provide an excellent client experience while maintaining professionalism and integrity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of two years of professional wedding Photography experience (required). At least 100-200 weddings shot.
• A portfolio of past wedding photography work (applications without a portfolio will not be considered).
• Proficiency in professional camera equipment
• Strong customer service skills with a professional and personable demeanor.
• Must be local to Metro Detroit, MI and available for in-person events.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work weekends and evenings .

Salary:

– Salary is negotiable based on experience.
– We are competitive with the regional averages in the current market.

Hours:

– Most weddings and events fall on Fridays & Saturdays. Typical start times are 1pm. End times are usually around 10pm. You will need weekends free.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $80.00 - $110.00 per hour
