Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for an Environmental Engineer to assist with our projects in Canton, MI!

Key Responsibilities

• Project and technical task management including remedial investigations, feasibility studies, due diligence, and environmental risk management.
• Office and some field support for environmental site assessment projects including soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, pore water, and soil gas sample collection.
• Design, bid specifications, construction oversight, operation, and maintenance of environmental remediation projects.
• Data collection and leadership of environmental permitting.
• Data synthesis, evaluation, and technical reporting.
• Business development, proposal preparation, and networking.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering.
• Knowledge of Michigan & Federal Environmental Regulations (Air, Water, Soil, Waste).
• Knowledge of audit inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA).
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a culturally diverse team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license and HAZWOPER certification.
• Certified Industrial Storm Water Operator is a plus!
