Job Duties: What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Assist your clients with preparing meals, walking, dressing, showers, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
• Follow and demonstrate the principles of 4M (What Matters, Mentation, Medication and Mobility) in all dealings with Senior Helpers clients.
• Document activities in Care plan binder daily
• Report any significant client changes to the office immediately
• Follow policies and procedures as outlined in Senior Helpers employee handbook

Qualifications:

• You are passionate about helping others
• You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients
• You want to help your community and make a difference in someone’s life
• Valid driver's license with no serious violations
• Pass a background check
• Prior home health/senior care experience in a home or a facility setting
