Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with manufacturing production schedules and goals.
• Source, evaluate, and manage a robust portfolio of suppliers for raw materials, components, and MRO items.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable agreements.
• Collaborate with production, planning, and engineering to ensure timely material availability and optimize inventory levels.
• Implement cost reduction initiatives and value analysis projects to improve profitability.
• Ensure all purchased materials and services meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company specifications.
• Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions and mitigate disruptions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced data analysis tools.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory control, and lean principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma certification
• Experience with advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spend analysis
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Fluency in a second language relevant to international supply chains
