Pay $18 hourly Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable, motivated Entry-Level General Laborer to join our small welding and fabrication shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and develop new skills in a hands-on manufacturing environment. No welding experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidate. The ideal applicant has a strong work ethic, takes pride in their work, follows directions, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized shop. Responsibilities
- Keep the shop clean and organized by sweeping, removing scrap materials, and maintaining work areas.
- Assist welders and fabricators with preparing materials and moving parts.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment throughout the shop.
- Measure, mark, and prepare materials for fabrication.
- Safely operate basic hand tools and power tools after training.
- Help package and prepare completed projects for delivery or pickup.
- Follow all shop safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other general shop duties as assigned.
- No experience required; we will train the right candidate.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work, including standing, bending, and lifting throughout the day.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Dependable with good attendance and a positive attitude.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or experience using hand tools is a plus, but not required.
