Job Title: Mechanical Engineer, assembly tooling / fixtures
Job Description
Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer and be part of a dynamic environment where you will contribute to high-impact aerospace projects. Your primary role will involve designing and developing system models, modifying layouts, and collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure seamless integration. You will also present models and test plans to customers, directly influencing project efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities

Ensure alignment of tooling and equipment systems for aerospace assembly lines.

Manage complex system requirements across multiple stakeholders.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in system modeling for tooling and automated equipment.

Strong CAD skills for facility integration layouts.

Experience in writing design requirements for assembly line applications.

Ability to develop test plans and acceptance criteria.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in mechanical engineering, CATIA, NX, tooling, automation, aerospace, and PLM.

Demonstrated ability to work on advanced tooling and automation projects.
Work Environment
Work primarily in an office-based setting with occasional access to the plant. Safety glasses are mandatory, and safety shoes are recommended in manufacturing areas. The team dynamics involve a mix of independent work and collaborative design reviews. Standard day shifts are expected, with occasional weekends required to meet project deadlines. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
