Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and confident in assisting with a wide range of dental procedures while maintaining excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during routine and restorative procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper setup for each appointment.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments according to infection control standards.
- Take dental X-rays.
- Assist with impressions, temporary restorations, and basic lab tasks.
- Update patient records and charting accurately.
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care and post-treatment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical area.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1–2 years of dental assisting experience.
- X-ray certification preferred.
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
