Purchasing and Supply Chain Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for keeping complex projects on track? We are looking for a Purchasing and Supply Chain Support Specialist to support a global automotive supply chain team in Troy, MI. In this role, you will be managing a large-scale project tracking components and orgins with various suppliers for OEMs.

This is a hybrid position, offering a balance of collaborative in-office teamwork and the flexibility of remote work.

What You’ll Bring We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate possesses:

• Technical Proficiency: Experience with SAP/ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills.

• Industry Knowledge: Background in automotive supply chain or purchasing processes.

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail.

• Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple moving parts independently.

salary: $29 - $36 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

Provide support for purchasing team project

• Project management
• Communicate with suppliers (written and verbal)
• Serve as liaison between purchasing, sales, customer center, and suppliers
• Track project in Excel and utilize SAP
