Position Title: Utility Fusers

Reports To: Foreman/Project Manager

Department: Field

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Location: Belleville, MI

Job Summary:

We are looking for utility fusers to join our team! As a utility fuser, you will be responsible for utilizing all types of fusion equipment to construct, install and maintain piping systems.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Construct, install and maintain piping systems for gas utilities

· Inspect and test piping systems for leaks

· Support crew by operating equipment and labor as needed

· Join piping by fusion, mechanical coupled joints, or electrofusion

· Keep worksite clean, organized and free from unnecessary hazards.

· Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred)

· Satisfactory driving record (MVR check will be conducted prior to hire)

· Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screens in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations

· Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening

· Ability to be a team player

· Dedicated, hard-working and goal focused

· Willing to work overtime and weekends, and work in all weather conditions

· Ability to lift, squat, and stand for long periods of time

Compensation:

Compensation follows the scale rate of the associated union.
