Position Overview

Provide maintenance services for seasonal equipment and all equipment for plant production and processing to accomplish established production requirements.

Pay rate starts at $28.23

Where You'll Work

This role will be based out of our 24/7 manufacturing facility in Lawton, MI.

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for production and processing equipment, refrigeration, boiler room, waste plant, building maintenance, seasonal preparation, and gas wells.
• Develops familiarity with the maintenance requirement of plant processing, production and seasonal operations through a thorough and continuing evaluation of production, processing and seasonal requirements, techniques, procedures, facilities and equipment. Maintains constant contact with production and processing supervision.
• Recommends and initiates changes to improve equipment operating performance, performs job estimates, work scheduling and budget control.
• Assures that maintenance operations are carrier out within established housekeeping and sanitation procedures, and applicable government regulations.
• Participates in all regular meetings as directed.

Who You Are:

• Able to work safely around complex, automated machinery in a non-temperature regulated environment
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication, including both written and verbal forms of collaboration
• Proactive in finding root cause and fixing issues
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

What You'll Need:

• Associates degree in a technical discipline related to machine maintenance and repair preferred, Journeyperson certification preferred.
• Minimum of four years related, applicable experience with machine maintenance and repair in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
