Production Specialist

Location: Dexter, MI Shift: Day Shift Pay: Up to $17.00/hr

Job Summary

We’re seeking detail-oriented Production Specialists to join a growing manufacturing team in Dexter, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, racking, unracking, and packaging products while ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in producing quality results.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Production Specialist , your core responsibilities will include:

Production Processing: Rack and unrack parts, select appropriate racks, count products, and prepare materials for processing and shipment.

Quality Inspection: Perform visual inspections of parts, identify defects or inconsistencies, and ensure products meet customer and company quality standards.

Packaging & Documentation: Package finished products, complete production paperwork, and maintain accurate records throughout the manufacturing process.

In addition, you will maintain a clean and organized work area, follow safety procedures, and work closely with production and quality teams to support customer requirements and production goals.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Skills:

• Problem Solving: Ability to identify issues and make sound decisions.
• Organization: Able to prioritize tasks and maintain an orderly workspace.
• Quality Focus: Ability to recognize differences and similarities in parts during inspection.
• Communication: Work effectively with team members and supervisors.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a manufacturing environment with a moderate to fast-paced workflow. Employees can expect a hands-on role involving inspection, packaging, and material handling activities throughout the shift.
